Terms of service
By purchasing or participating in any service offered through Patterns & Permissions, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Nature of Services
All services provided, including 1:1 sessions and numerology readings, are intended for self-awareness, personal insight, and educational purposes only. These services are not therapy, counseling, medical care, or mental health treatment.
Amber is not acting in the role of a licensed therapist within these services, even if she holds professional credentials. No therapeutic or clinical relationship is established through purchase or participation.
2. Not a Substitute for Professional Care
Services are not a substitute for licensed mental health treatment, medical advice, diagnosis, or crisis intervention. If you are experiencing mental health concerns or require clinical support, you are encouraged to seek services from a licensed provider in your area.
If you are in crisis, please contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline or go to your nearest emergency room.
3. Client Responsibility
By engaging in services, you acknowledge that:
- You are voluntarily participating and responsible for your own decisions, actions, and results
- You will use your own judgment when applying insights gained
- No guarantees are made regarding specific outcomes
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase or participate in services. By purchasing, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
5. Payment & Refund Policy
All purchases are final and non-refundable unless otherwise stated. Due to the personalized nature of services, refunds will not be issued once work has begun or a session has been completed.
6. Scheduling & Cancellations (for 1:1 Sessions)
- Sessions must be scheduled after purchase using the provided booking link
- A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to reschedule
- Missed sessions or late cancellations may result in forfeiture of the session without refund
7. Delivery of Digital Products (Numerology Readings)
Personalized numerology readings are delivered as a downloadable PDF via email within 48 hours of receiving all required intake information.
Delays caused by incomplete or missing information are not the responsibility of the provider.
8. No Guarantees
All services are based on interpretation and insight. No guarantees are made regarding outcomes, results, or future events.
Numerology readings are intended as a reflective tool and should not be used as the sole basis for major life decisions.
9. Confidentiality
All personal information shared will be kept confidential to the best of the provider’s ability. However, communication through email or online platforms cannot be guaranteed as fully secure.
Information may be disclosed if required by law.
10. Scope of Practice & Boundaries
Services are provided in a coaching/educational capacity only and do not include:
- Diagnosis
- Treatment of mental health conditions
- Crisis intervention
Amber reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services if a client’s needs fall outside the scope of practice or require clinical care.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Illinois law, Patterns & Permissions and Amber shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of services.
12. Intellectual Property
All materials provided, including readings, documents, and content, are the intellectual property of Patterns & Permissions and may not be copied, shared, or distributed without written permission.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois.
14. Agreement
By purchasing or participating in any service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
